The client is a global logistics and transportation company specializing in express mail services, freight, and supply chain management. They offer a wide range of services, including air, sea, and road transportation, as well as e-commerce solutions and warehousing. The company operates worldwide, providing fast and reliable delivery services to both individuals and businesses.

You will join the Secure Access Cloud and Proxy Services team in Prague to provide daily operational support. This role focuses on maintaining and improving network security services deployed in the Cloud, such as firewalls, web proxies, load balancing, and DNS.

Náplň práce

Provide 2nd level support for network security services deployed in the Cloud, covering technologies such as Firewalls, web proxies, application delivery (load balancing), DNS etc.
Provide incident and problem-solving support for services he or she is responsible for and liaising with appropriate external vendors to ensure all services are maintained and operated to set service levels.
Ensure all changes to the network security infrastructure follow the change management process ensuring all changes are documented and can be supported by operations team.
Ensure all solutions implemented follow the agreed standards.

Požadujeme

At least 2 years of experience in the field of Telecommunications/Network and/or Network Security (Firewalls, TCP/IP, IPSec VPN, HTTP(S), DNS, etc.).
Experience with public cloud networking principles (specifically Microsoft Azure and/or Google) or Cloud Proxy
Good understanding of at least one of the following Network Security technologies – Fortinet Firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, IPSec VPN or Web Proxy.
Ability to work independently, prioritize and organize tasks under time and workload pressure.
Very good spoken and written English

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience with scripting
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform
Automation

WORK RESULT:

Successful resolution of incident tickets,
Successful implementation of changes on existing infrastructure devices
Answer customer queries via phones or emails
Deliver anything else requested by supervisor.
