Job description

Embrace a challenging role where your skills will lead a crucial project: refactoring and transitioning an electrical transfer switch’s codebase from C++ to Python—a vital system for continuous power supply in healthcare. Your responsibilities will include:

Refactoring existing C++ code to Python.
Developing eight new features from scratch.
Collaborating with the development team on unit testing and adopting SAFe methodologies.
Contributing to the potential cloud transition of the web-based application.

Requirements

7+ years of Python development experience.
Proficiency with Linux platforms and HMI/GUI development.
Experience with WebSocket, REST API frameworks, and preferably with PyZMQ/protobuf libraries.
Strong English communication skills.
Leadership experience in Agile software development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CAN protocol and multithread applications.
Aptitude for setting technical strategy and orchestration across teams.
CI/CD pipeline and Cloud Native application development experience.
